## Description
Find relevant podcasts without an account. Existing PodPitch customers can connect with OAuth for campaigns, drafts, inbox replies and outreach.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **report_agent_bug** — Record a minimal technical PodPitch failure without an account. Report concrete tool failures once. Exclude credentials, personal data, pitches and conversations. Respect client approval. Returns a persisted report ID.
- **search_podcasts** — Find active podcasts by topic or name. No account needed. Returns public show information and listening links, never contact addresses.
- **get_podcast_details** — Read public details for a podcast from search. No account or contact addresses.
- **get_connected_account** — Return the account represented by this connection, with a stable opaque profile ID and display email.
- **create_podcast_campaign** — Create a podcast campaign in Off mode using a team profile and connected senders. Existing plan and first-campaign setup checks apply.
- **get_campaign** — Read your team's campaign and its settings.
- **update_campaign** — Update campaign name, writing, follow-up, and tracking settings. Scheduling uses schedule_campaign.
- **edit_pitch_draft** — Edit a saved, unscheduled pitch at its expected stage. Refresh before editing; scheduled messages use edit_upcoming_send.
- **list_campaigns** — List up to 50 campaign summaries, newest first. Use next_before_id as before_id for the next page. Read complete settings with get_campaign.
- **list_profiles** — List your team's profiles.
- **create_profile** — Create a profile for your team.
- **archive_profile** — Archive a profile belonging to your team.

- **get_account_podcast** — Read a podcast's full account-accessible record.
- **get_campaign_drafts** — Read saved drafts for any campaign type, including podcast campaigns. Returns all six email stages, generation/error and pause/send state. Use next_offset as offset for the next page; use entity_id for a specific draft. A queued acknowledgement is not completion; read saved content and is_regenerating to verify.

## Documentation

## What PodPitch does

PodPitch provides MCP tools for finding podcasts and working with podcast outreach campaigns. Public discovery can be used without a PodPitch account: agents can search active shows by topic or name and retrieve public details and listening links. Contact email addresses are not returned by these discovery tools.

Existing customers can connect their PodPitch account in the browser and use the account tools for team profiles, campaigns, pitch drafts, scheduled sends, campaign reporting, and inbox conversations. Account permissions, subscription rules, campaign modes, and pitch limits continue to apply.

## How it works

The hosted MCP endpoint is available at `https://api.podpitch.com/v1/mcp`. An MCP client connects to the endpoint and invokes tools for either public discovery or authenticated account work. Public searches do not require a login. Account operations use the PodPitch connection represented by the client, including its team permissions and connected senders.

Campaign creation starts in Off mode. Campaign settings can then be read or updated, while scheduling is handled separately. Draft tools distinguish saved content from queued or regenerating work, so clients can read a draft and check its state before treating generation as complete. Pagination is exposed for campaign lists, inbox threads, campaign drafts, and podcast searches through the relevant cursor or offset fields.

A separate Claude package includes a dated, sharded catalog of public podcast records for hosts that cannot reach live discovery. The package supports topic and category searches, exact show details, audience estimates, and demo links when the host can access its bundled files.

## Tools and capabilities

- Search active public podcasts by topic or name with `search_podcasts`.
- Read public or account-accessible podcast records with `get_podcast_details` and `get_account_podcast`.
- Create and manage team profiles, including archive and restore operations.
- Create, inspect, update, list, and audit campaigns.
- Read campaign drafts, previews, subject-line results, and change history.
- Add contacts, send pitches, schedule campaign sends, and pause or disable pending schedules.
- Set campaign mode to Off or Manual where permitted; MagicPitch does not allow Manual mode.
- List inbox threads, read team mailbox threads, and send replies.
- Report a reproducible technical PodPitch failure without including credentials, personal data, pitches, or conversations.

## Setup and configuration

Configure an MCP client to use the PodPitch endpoint at `https://api.podpitch.com/v1/mcp`. Public discovery can be used immediately without an account. Customers using campaign or inbox tools must connect their PodPitch account in the browser and authorize the applicable team access.

The repository also identifies ChatGPT and Claude packages as `chatgpt/podpitch` and `claude/podpitch`. Client permissions and approval prompts still govern tool execution, especially operations that send email, schedule pitches, or modify campaign data.

## Limitations and notes

Public discovery intentionally excludes contact addresses. Sending pitches and inbox replies sends email and remains subject to PodPitch authorization, subscription, campaign-mode, and daily pitch-limit checks. Campaign and profile actions are scoped to the connected team.

Before editing a saved pitch, refresh its expected stage with the draft tools. Scheduled messages require the separate upcoming-send editing flow. A queued draft acknowledgement is not proof that content is ready; read the saved draft and inspect its regeneration state.

The agent bug tool is intended for concrete, one-time technical failures and returns a persisted report ID. Reports should exclude credentials, personal information, pitches, and conversations.
