This repository is the **Claude Code plugin / install package** ([Novence-ai/mcp](https://github.com/Novence-ai/mcp)). The MCP server itself is hosted; there is nothing to run locally.

## Get an API key

Verify the emailed OTP when prompted to unlock full Free quotas.

## Install (Claude Code)

Then set **Novence API key** in plugin settings (Keychain). See [SETUP.md](https://github.com/Novence-ai/mcp/blob/HEAD/SETUP.md). Run `/reload-plugins` if you filled the key after enabling.

Claude stores the key via **plugin `userConfig`** — prefer this over shell env. The plugin’s `.mcp.json` sends `Authorization: Bearer ${user_config.api_key}`.
