## What mycrab-mcp does

The mycrab-mcp MCP server connects AI agents to mycrab.space, a service that provides public HTTPS URLs through Cloudflare Tunnels. It exposes tools for checking subdomain availability, creating a short-lived tunnel, reserving a permanent subdomain, and reading the service's full skill documentation.

The free tunnel flow is intended for temporary access. It assigns an automatic subdomain and provides a setup command; the resulting tunnel expires after 61 minutes. For a persistent address, an agent can submit a subdomain name and a Solana mainnet transaction signature for a 0.05 SOL payment.

## How it works

mycrab-mcp MCP server runs locally as a Python package launched with uvx and communicates with the client over the standard MCP setup. The client invokes one of the exposed tools, and the tool returns availability information, a shell command, reservation details, or documentation.

A typical temporary flow starts with `check_domain` when a specific name is needed, followed by `setup_free_tunnel` if an automatically assigned address is acceptable. The returned command is designed to configure the free tunnel. A permanent flow uses `buy_domain_sol` with the requested subdomain and the corresponding Solana mainnet transaction signature. The response includes a setup token and setup command.

## Setup and configuration

Install and launch the package with:

## Tools and capabilities
