# Moonlora MCP Server 🌙

Remote [MCP](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server for moon data — phases, illumination, moon signs, full/new moon dates (1900–2100) and moonrise/moonset for any coordinates. Computed with the Meeus algorithm, not scraped. Hosted, stateless, no install, no API key.

## Tools

| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| `get_moon_phase` | Phase, illumination, moon sign, next full/new moon for any date. Optional `latitude`/`longitude` adds moonrise/moonset (UTC). |
| `list_full_moons` | Every full moon of a year with exact UTC times, traditional names and moon signs. |
| `list_new_moons` | Every new moon of a year with exact UTC times and moon signs. |
