- **get_entity_full** — Pobiera ODPIS PELNY z KRS (z historia wpisow - kazda zmiana, kazde wykreslenie, wszystkie poprzednie sklady zarzadu). Wieksza odpowiedz, uzywaj kiedy potrzebujesz historii zmian, nie tylko stanu aktualnego.
- **get_board** — SKROCONA wersja: tylko sklad zarzadu + sposob reprezentacji + prokurenci. Szybciej niz get_entity gdy potrzebujesz tylko 'kto reprezentuje X'. Bazuje na odpisie aktualnym.

## What mcp-krs MCP server does

mcp-krs MCP server exposes Polish National Court Register data through the Model Context Protocol. It connects to the Ministry of Justice’s official KRS API and returns registry information for entities in the entrepreneurs register or associations register.

The returned entity data can include the registered name, legal form, NIP, REGON, address, share capital, primary PKD code, status, court, board composition, representation rules, and commercial proxies. Depending on the tool, the response can represent the current record or include the entity’s entry history. Responses also include a Ministry of Justice search URL and structured citation metadata.

## How it works

The client supplies a KRS identifier containing one to ten digits. The server pads shorter values with leading zeroes before making the request; for example, `28860` becomes `0000028860`. The optional `rejestr` parameter selects the register: `P` for entrepreneurs, which is the default, or `S` for associations.

Requests use the official Ministry of Justice API and are sent over the server’s stdio transport. A 500-millisecond throttle limits request frequency to two requests per second. The implementation uses Node.js and the built-in `fetch` API.

Personal data for board members is returned in the masked form supplied by the Ministry of Justice API. The server passes that data through without attempting to reveal or reconstruct hidden surnames. Users who need the full surnames must follow the provided Ministry of Justice link and authenticate in a browser.

## Setup and configuration

The published package can run without cloning the repository:

For a stdio MCP client, configure the command as `npx` with `-y` and `@matematicsolutions/mcp-krs` as its argument. Building from source requires Node.js 18 or newer:

No environment variables are documented. The source can also be connected to Patron with a stdio entry that runs `node` against `dist/index.js`.

## Tools and capabilities

The mcp-krs MCP server exposes three tools:

- `get_entity(krs, rejestr?)` returns the current extract for an entity.
- `get_entity_full(krs, rejestr?)` returns the full extract, including entry history.
- `get_board(krs, rejestr?)` returns representation rules, board composition, and commercial proxies.

Each response includes structured citation fields such as the title, source URL, KRS number, entity name, NIP, REGON, legal form, status, locality, registry court, and selected register. This metadata can be rendered by clients that support structured MCP content.

## Limitations and notes

The service depends on the official Ministry of Justice API and its available response data. Board-member surnames may be masked by the source. The server is a registry lookup connector, so it provides source data and representation rules but does not independently decide whether a specific contract signature is legally sufficient.

The documented transport is stdio. The repository describes the connector as compatible with MCP clients generally, while Patron has an explicit integration example. The API request throttle is part of the implementation and may affect sequences of lookups.
