## Description
Lease and run real NVIDIA GPUs from any MCP client. Wallet auth, onchain USDG payment, and SSH.

## Claude Desktop Quick Installation

## Documentation

## What prismnetwork-tech/prism does

The prismnetwork-tech/prism MCP server connects MCP clients to Prism Network's metered GPU compute marketplace. Its documented MCP layer exposes leasing through the network's headless agent and wallet-authenticated flow. Agents can discover available GPU offers, arrange a lease, use USDG escrow for payment, and obtain time-limited access to the provisioned workload through SSH.

Prism's wider platform also supports account and wallet onboarding, lease metering, settlement, receipt publication, early release, and command-based workloads. A lease can be ended before its scheduled completion so that metering stops and unused escrow is returned. Managed inference is described as a separate pay-per-call service rather than the same raw leasing workflow.

## How it works

The control plane coordinates offers, quotes, leases, lifecycle operations, settlement, and proof records. Payment uses USDG on Robinhood Chain, with escrow contracts handling the lease funds. Wallet signatures provide the authentication mechanism used by the agent SDK and the MCP path.

Two execution paths are implemented. Independent nodes are designed around Ubuntu 24.04 x86-64 hosts, OCI images, Kata VM-backed containers, NVIDIA VFIO passthrough, and short-lived SSH or Jupyter credentials delivered through an outbound-only mTLS tunnel. A separate Vast broker provisions disposable instances and provides direct SSH access.

The broker path is the one serving capacity today. No independent node is enrolled, so the documented Kata and VFIO isolation path is not currently customer-facing. Offers, quotes, leases, and receipts carry a trust class. Clients can request a minimum class, but all live capacity is currently marked open.

## Tools and capabilities

The prismnetwork-tech/prism MCP server is intended for agent-driven leasing rather than general GPU administration. Supported platform capabilities include:

- Discovering available GPU offers.
- Creating and managing metered GPU leases.
- Authenticating with a wallet.
- Paying lease escrow in USDG on Robinhood Chain.
- Receiving temporary SSH access to brokered GPU instances.
- Ending a lease early to stop metering.
- Running command-based workloads through the brokered reproducible-run path.
- Using published settlement and receipt information to inspect completed activity.

The repository also contains a headless agent SDK, an x402 pay-per-job path, and managed inference components.

## Limitations and notes

The prismnetwork-tech/prism MCP server currently reaches capacity supplied through Vast. Brokered instances rely on provider-reported readiness and evidence; they do not provide the independent-node Kata/VFIO isolation, Prism gateway, or Jupyter access described for the other path.

Live offers fluctuate, and current capacity is open trust. In that class, the host operator may read anything the workload touches. Do not treat the marketplace as confidential execution based solely on the existence of wallet authentication or escrow.

Deposits should therefore be sized accordingly. Trust classes are derived by Prism's control plane from verifiable evidence, not simply declared by suppliers. The repository's status information was verified on 2026-09-07, so availability and implementation status may change.

Those details should be confirmed in the repository's MCP documentation before deployment.
