## What unifically-dev/unifically-mcp MCP server does

unifically-dev/unifically-mcp MCP server gives an MCP client access to the UnificAlly API, which provides more than 100 models for video, image, music, speech, dialogue, and sound-effect generation. The service is hosted at `https://mcp.unifically.com/mcp`, so the repository acts as a public integration surface rather than software that must be installed and run locally.

## How it works

An MCP client sends tool calls to the hosted UnificAlly endpoint with an API key. The server can accept text prompts, reference media, or uploaded local files depending on the operation. `upload_file` returns a CDN URL that can be used as a reference input for later requests.

Generation operations return tasks that can be followed with `get_task`. Recent work can be reviewed with `list_tasks`. Before creating media, `dry_run_cost` can estimate the price without charging the account, while `check_balance` reports the available account balance.

The endpoint supports Streamable HTTP. Clients that do not connect to remote HTTP MCP servers directly can use the documented `mcp-remote` command as a bridge.

## Setup and configuration

Create an API key through UnificAlly, then configure the client to use the hosted endpoint and send the key as a Bearer token. A direct Streamable HTTP configuration uses:

For clients that require a local command, configure `npx -y mcp-remote` with the same endpoint and an `Authorization` header. Claude Code can be added with its HTTP transport command. Claude web custom connectors require the API key in the connector URL because pasted connector URLs do not carry headers.
