# Malaysia CourtDB MCP

Connect your AI assistant to [Malaysia CourtDB](https://my.courtdb.org) — a **court case judgment search** tool for Malaysian legal cases via the Model Context Protocol.

Search **court judgments** and case records from the **Federal Court**, **Court of Appeal**, **High Court**, Sessions Court (Sesyen), and Magistrates' Court (Majistret). Filter by case number, court, judge, keyword, party name, and year of decision — useful for reviewing published judgments, written grounds of judgment, and named parties in appeal records.

Malaysia CourtDB is an independent legal research database. It is not affiliated with [Portal Rasmi Kerajaan Malaysia](https://www.malaysia.gov.my), [eLaw.my](https://www.elaw.my), or [CLJLaw](https://www.cljlaw.com), but covers similar court judgment search use cases for AI assistants.

Party rows can include linked company IDs where a party matches a registered Malaysian business.

### `Malaysia_get_case`

Fetch one Malaysian court case by id after selecting it from a search result.

Returns `{ data }` with case metadata, parties (`name`, `role`, linked `companyId`), and the appeal document list. Returns `null` for an unknown id.
