## Description
AI detection for text content with GPTZero API. Detect AI-generated text, get confidence scores, multilingual support (French/Spanish), and detailed probability breakdowns.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **gptzero_detect** — Detect if text was generated by AI.
- **gptzero_model_versions** — Get available GPTZero model versions.

## Claude Desktop Quick Installation
Install path detected from listing signals. Uses `npx` (confidence: high):

```json
"mcpServers": {
  "gptzero-mcp": {
    "command": "npx",
    "args": ["-y","-e"],
    "env": {
      "GPTZERO_API_KEY": ""
    }
  }
}
```

**Requires environment variables:** `GPTZERO_API_KEY` — the values above are empty placeholders; fill in real credentials before running (see the repository for what each one is for).

      "args": ["-y", "@louis030195/gptzero-mcp"],
      "env": {
        "GPTZERO_API_KEY": "your-gptzero-api-key"
      }
    }
  }
}
```
### Claude Code
```bash
# Install globally in user scope with API key
claude mcp add -s user gptzero npx -e GPTZERO_API_KEY=your-gptzero-api-key -- -y @louis030195/gptzero-mcp
```
