## Description
Hong Kong horse racing: race cards, AI win chances, odds, results, form and stats.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **get_meeting** — Hong Kong horse racing meeting at Sha Tin or Happy Valley: every race with post time, class, distance, course, status, the AI top pick and, after the race, the first three. Without a date it returns the next upcoming meeting (or the latest one if none is scheduled).
- **get_race** — One Hong Kong race: full field with draw, jockey, trainer, weight, rating, latest win odds, the AI model's win probability and rank for every runner; after the race also finishing positions, margins and HKJC dividends.
- **get_tips** — AI top four for every race at a Hong Kong meeting, ranked by the model's win probability, with how the AI top pick was settled once the race is run. Without a date: the next upcoming meeting.
- **get_track_record** — The public, pre-race-sealed record of every AI top pick ($10 win + $10 place at HKJC dividends), compared with backing the favourite in the same races. Losses included.
- **search** — Search Hong Kong racehorses, jockeys and trainers by Chinese name, English name or brand number (e.g. H464). Returns ids usable with get_horse / get_person.
- **get_horse** — A Hong Kong racehorse: trainer, rating, age, pedigree, career record, the last 10 runs (class, distance, draw, jockey, finishing position, odds, AI rank) and a written form summary. Accepts a Chinese or English name, brand number or id.
- **get_person** — Season statistics for a Hong Kong jockey or trainer: rides, wins/seconds/thirds, rank, win rate, most frequent partners and recent rides. Accepts a Chinese or English name or id.
- **get_standings** — This season's Hong Kong jockey or trainer championship table: rank, rides, 1st/2nd/3rd, win rate and the last 30 days.
- **get_partnership** — How a Hong Kong jockey and trainer have done together over the last two seasons: rides, wins, placings and recent rides together.
- **get_draw_stats** — Win and place rates by draw for a Hong Kong course: venue, distance and rail position (A, A+3, B, B+2, C, C+3, or AWT for Sha Tin all-weather).

## Documentation

## What HK Racing AI MCP server does

The HK Racing AI MCP server exposes Hong Kong horse-racing information for Sha Tin and Happy Valley through MCP. Its data is compiled from public Hong Kong Jockey Club information and supplemented with statistics and a horse-strength model. The service is read-only and can answer questions about upcoming meetings, individual runners, historical form, race outcomes, and participants.

Meeting queries include post times, classes, distances, courses, race status, the model's leading selection, and—once available—the first three finishers. Individual race queries provide the full field, including draw, jockey, trainer, weight, rating, latest win odds, model probability, and model rank. Completed races also include finishing positions, margins, and HKJC dividends.

## How it works

The HK Racing AI MCP server is available at `https://hkracing.live/mcp` as a Streamable HTTP service. Requests can specify English or Traditional Chinese output with the `lang` option. Searches accept Chinese names, English names, or horse brand numbers and return identifiers that can be used in later horse or person queries.

The horse-strength model produces win probabilities from pre-race information approximately 70 minutes before a race. Predictions are sealed when the race starts and are not revised afterward. The public record tracks each model top pick with hypothetical $10 win and $10 place stakes at HKJC dividends, including losing selections, and compares that record with the meeting favourite.

## Setup and configuration

Connect a compatible MCP client to the hosted endpoint; the service does not require authentication. Claude can use a custom remote connector or `mcp-remote` in its desktop configuration. Cursor and VS Code can use an MCP configuration containing the server URL. ChatGPT and Grok are also named as clients that can add the endpoint as a custom or remote MCP connector.

No environment variables or local service process are required for the hosted connection. Each result includes a corresponding page on hkracing.live for citation.

## Tools and capabilities

The HK Racing AI MCP server provides these read-only tools:

- `get_meeting` for a full meeting, with the next meeting used when no date is supplied.
- `get_race` for runner-level details and post-race settlement data.
- `get_tips` for the model's top four runners in each meeting race.
- `get_track_record` for the sealed top-pick record and favourite comparison.
- `search`, `get_horse`, and `get_person` for finding and examining racing participants.
- `get_standings` for the current jockey or trainer championship table.
- `get_partnership` for two-season jockey-trainer results.
- `get_draw_stats` for win and place rates by venue, distance, and rail position.

## Limitations and notes

The HK Racing AI MCP server supplies information and analysis, not betting services or betting advice. The official Hong Kong Jockey Club figures take precedence over the compiled data. The published track-record sample is described as small, and model probabilities are estimates rather than guarantees. The service does not take bets; users should follow applicable Hong Kong rules and bet responsibly.
