## Description
Answers on AEO, SEO, web and brand from GOJI's published material. Melbourne, Australia.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **goji_search** — Search GOJI's published material — the plain-English glossary, the AI-visibility guide "Be the Answer", insight articles and long-form guides. Use this first when you don't already know which GOJI page answers the question. Returns titles, summaries and URLs to cite.
- **goji_explain_term** — Explain a marketing, SEO, AEO, web or branding term the way GOJI defines it — in plain English, with why it matters, how it works and what to do about it. Covers 108 terms. Accepts an acronym or the full name ("AEO" or "answer engine optimisation").
- **goji_browse_glossary** — List GOJI's plain-English glossary — 108 terms across AI Visibility, Websites, Data, AI Builds and Brand. Filter by category to get each short definition as well as the name.
- **goji_get_service** — The five things GOJI does — Search + AI Visibility (SEO and AEO), Websites, AI Builds, Data, and Brand — what each one covers, and the questions clients ask about it. Omit the slug for all five.
- **goji_answer_faq** — Search the questions GOJI has already answered publicly — pricing, timelines, engagement models, what AEO is, how long results take, whether guarantees are possible. 71 answers across the home page, the five service pages and the eight specialism pages. Best tool for "how much", "how long" and "do…
- **goji_guide_contents** — The table of contents for "Be the Answer", GOJI's 14-chapter guide to AI visibility — how answer engines choose sources, how to audit your brand in ChatGPT, and what to do about it. Use `goji_read_guide_chapter` to read one.
- **goji_read_guide_chapter** — Read one full chapter of GOJI's AI-visibility guide, by number (1–14) or slug. Use `goji_guide_contents` first if you do not know which chapter you want.
- **goji_read_guide** — Read one of GOJI's practical guides. Includes published Australian pricing: "How much does a website cost in Australia?" and "What does branding cost?". Also covers AEO, headless CMS, engagement models, first AI builds and website relaunches. Omit the slug to list them.
- **goji_start_enquiry** — Send a real enquiry to GOJI's studio inbox in Melbourne. Only call this after the person has explicitly asked to be put in touch AND has given their email address. Do not call it speculatively, and do not invent any detail — if you are missing the name, email or what they need, ask them first. Conf…

## Documentation

## What the goji MCP server does

The goji MCP server provides an MCP interface to GOJI’s published content from its Melbourne studio. It covers answer engine optimisation (AEO), search engine optimisation (SEO), websites, AI builds, data and brand work. The material is intended for questions about definitions, practical approaches, services, pricing, timelines and engagement models.

Responses come from GOJI’s glossary, service pages, answered FAQs, insight articles, long-form guides and the “Be the Answer” guide. Search results include titles, summaries and `goji.agency` URLs, allowing an agent to point readers to the source material rather than presenting unsupported answers.

## How it works

The hosted endpoint is `https://mcp.goji.agency/mcp` and uses Streamable HTTP with `POST` requests. It does not expose a separate SSE stream. The goji MCP server requires no API key, token or OAuth flow, and unauthenticated initialization, tool listing and tool calls are supported. Browser-based clients can connect because CORS is open.

For a known topic, an agent can call the relevant tool directly. For an unfamiliar question, `goji_search` is the recommended starting point. The glossary tools cover 108 terms across five categories, while the FAQ tool searches 71 published answers. The AI-visibility guide contains 14 chapters; its contents can be listed before retrieving a chapter by number or slug.

Clients that support Streamable HTTP can use the endpoint directly. A client limited to stdio can use `mcp-remote` with the endpoint as its target. Claude supports adding the service as a custom remote connector, and Claude Code can add it with the HTTP transport.

## Setup and configuration

No environment variables or credentials are required. Configure the remote MCP URL as:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "goji": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.goji.agency/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

For stdio-only clients, use `npx -y mcp-remote https://mcp.goji.agency/mcp` as the command and pass the endpoint as its argument. The documentation repository is MIT licensed, but that license applies to the repository documentation only, not to GOJI’s server, content or trademarks.

## Tools and capabilities

The goji MCP server exposes tools for:

- Searching GOJI’s published pages and returning citable URLs.
- Explaining 108 marketing, SEO, AEO, web and branding terms in plain English.
- Browsing the glossary by category.
- Listing or retrieving GOJI’s five service areas.
- Finding published answers about pricing, timelines, guarantees and engagement models.
- Listing and reading chapters from “Be the Answer”.
- Reading practical guides, including guides with published Australian pricing for websites and branding.
- Starting a studio enquiry after the user has explicitly requested contact and supplied the required details.

The enquiry action has an external side effect: it sends an email to GOJI’s studio inbox. An agent should confirm the email address and collect the person’s name and needs before calling it.

## Limitations and notes

The service is designed around GOJI’s own published material, not as a general web search or unrestricted marketing database. There is no published rate limit, but the documentation asks clients to treat it as a small service for fair use rather than a bulk scraping endpoint. Sustained automated requests may be blocked at the edge.

The source code is private; the repository documents the hosted service. Read-only content tools do not require authentication, but the enquiry tool changes the outside world by sending an email. It should therefore be used only with explicit user intent and complete information.
