## Description
Search, compare and shortlist Odoo partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **search_partners** — Filter by country, city, tier (gold/silver/ready), app specialism, industry focus or text; ranked by the published formula
- **get_partner** — Full profile: odoo.com figures (tier, references by industry, certified experts, project sizes, retention) and facts from the partner's own website (services, prices, AI-assisted delivery, hosting, languages)
- **match_partners** — Rule-based shortlist (up to 5) for a project — country, industry, size, apps, languages — with the reasons for each match
- **prepare_request** — Saves the project answers (no personal data) and returns a link where the buyer adds their own contact details, confirms by email and chooses the partners. Agents never send anything to partners
- **directory_stats** — Partners per country and tier, medians per tier, pricing transparency, cities and app specialisms

## Claude Desktop Quick Installation
Remote MCP endpoint (confidence: high). Install path detected from listing signals. Add as a URL/SSE server in your client:

```json
"mcpServers": {
  "erp-partner-finder": {
    "url": "https://erppartnerfinder.com/api/mcp"
  }
}
```

## Documentation

## What the ERP Partner Finder MCP server does

The ERP Partner Finder MCP server gives AI agents access to an independent directory of Odoo implementation partners in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The directory covers approximately 190 partners and is updated weekly. It supports research tasks such as finding Gold partners in a particular city, comparing project and pricing information, or identifying firms with experience in a specific industry or Odoo application.

Partner records combine public information from the Odoo partner directory with facts summarized from each partner’s own website. Odoo-sourced fields include tier, industry references, certified experts, project-size ranges, and retention. Website-derived fields can include services, stated prices, AI-assisted delivery, hosting, and supported languages.

## How it works

The service is available at `https://erppartnerfinder.com/api/mcp` through Streamable HTTP. No API key is required. An MCP-compatible client sends tool calls to the endpoint, and the server returns partner records, ranked search results, matching explanations, or aggregate directory data.

Search results follow the directory’s published ranking formula, which is applied consistently across partners. Matching is rule-based rather than a personal recommendation system: the inputs can include country, industry, company size, applications, and languages, and the result contains up to five candidates with reasons for each match.

The `prepare_request` tool stores project answers without personal data and returns a link. The buyer uses that link to add contact details, confirm by email, and select partners. Agents do not send requests to partners on the buyer’s behalf.

## Setup and configuration

For Claude Code, add the remote endpoint with the HTTP transport:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http erppartnerfinder https://erppartnerfinder.com/api/mcp
```

For clients using an `mcpServers` configuration, set the server URL to the same endpoint:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "erppartnerfinder": {
      "url": "https://erppartnerfinder.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

Clients that only accept stdio can use `mcp-remote` with `npx` to bridge to the HTTP endpoint. The repository also documents a JSON feed at `https://erppartnerfinder.com/api/partners`, with an optional country filter for `DE`, `AT`, or `CH`.

## Tools and capabilities

The ERP Partner Finder MCP server exposes five tools:

- `search_partners` filters by country, city, tier, application specialization, industry focus, or text, then ranks the results using the published formula.
- `get_partner` returns a detailed profile with Odoo directory figures and selected information from the partner’s website.
- `match_partners` creates a project-oriented shortlist of up to five partners and explains the matching factors.
- `prepare_request` records non-personal project answers and creates a buyer-facing request link.
- `directory_stats` reports partner counts by country and tier, tier medians, pricing transparency, cities, and application specialisms.

## Limitations and notes

The data covers company information only; it does not provide personal data. The service is operated by Knowlix GmbH, which is also listed as an Odoo partner, but it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Odoo S.A. There are no paid placements according to the published rules.

The directory is intended for lookup and citation with links to partner profiles. The repository asks users not to bulk-copy or republish its data. Website facts depend on information published by the partners, while Odoo-specific figures come from the public Odoo partner directory.
