## What Diavgis — Greek Public Procurement MCP server does

Diavgis — Greek Public Procurement MCP server gives AI agents access to Greek public-procurement records from three official sources: Διαύγεια, the state transparency portal; ΚΗΜΔΗΣ, the central public-contract registry; and TED, the EU procurement journal. The service links records that belong to the same procurement, allowing an agent to examine a sequence from tender through award, contract, and payment rather than treating each record as isolated.

The dataset supports searches across acts, buyers, suppliers, CPV classifications, regions, amounts, and dates. It also provides entity profiles, rankings, spending summaries, counterparty analysis, and contract-expiration queries.

## How it works

The server is hosted remotely at `https://mcp.diavgis.gr/mcp` and uses Streamable HTTP. No scraper, PDF parser, or local data installation is required. MCP clients send requests to the endpoint and receive tool results from the hosted service.

A typical investigation starts with `find_entity` when only an organization name is known. The returned nine-digit ΑΦΜ can then be used with `get_entity`, `search_tenders`, `entity_counterparties`, or other entity-focused tools. `get_act` retrieves an individual record using a Διαύγεια ΑΔΑ or ΚΗΜΔΗΣ ΑΔΑΜ, while `get_chain` returns the linked procurement lifecycle where available.

The endpoint supports protocol revisions `2026-07-28`, `2025-11-25`, `2025-06-18`, `2025-03-26`, and `2024-11-05`. A health-check URL is available at `https://mcp.diavgis.gr/health`.

The Diavgis — Greek Public Procurement MCP server can be used without an API key. To obtain higher rate limits, add a bearer token in the request headers. Keys and their limits are provided through the Diavgis pricing page. `get_quota` reports the current plan, calls used, calls remaining, and rate limits; quota checks do not count against the quota.

- `entity_counterparties` identifies an entity’s main trading counterparts.

## Limitations and notes

Natural-person counterparties are redacted at the source under European and Greek data-protection requirements, so those records do not provide supplier identity. Greek public sources may publish records after their issue dates; the OCDS endpoint indicates its settled-through date, and newer information may still be arriving.

Amounts can use a gross, VAT-inclusive basis when that is the only amount published by the source. Consult the endpoint’s field documentation and the project methodology when interpreting values. The API data is licensed CC BY 4.0 and requires attribution to Diavgis with a link to `https://diavgis.gr`; repository documentation is MIT-licensed.
