## Claude Desktop Quick Installation
Remote MCP endpoint (confidence: high). Install path detected from listing signals. Add as a URL/SSE server in your client:

```json
"mcpServers": {
  "dashform-mcp-server": {
    "url": "https://getaiform.com/api/mcp"
  }
}
## Documentation
## What Dashform MCP Server MCP server does
Dashform MCP Server MCP server exposes Dashform capabilities through a hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint. It supports two broad workflows: managing forms and handling customer-facing funnel interactions. Authenticated form tools can retrieve user and organization information, list forms with reply counts, inspect complete form definitions, create forms, update their configuration, delete them, and submit replies.
The server also provides unauthenticated marketplace and booking operations. An agent can browse service categories, search merchants by keyword, category, or location, and search services with price filters. For a published funnel, it can retrieve business information, available services, and the form question schema, then qualify a lead, check scheduling availability, and submit an appointment booking.
## How it works
The service is hosted at `https://getaiform.com/api/mcp` and communicates over Streamable HTTP. MCP clients send tool calls to this endpoint; no local process or repository installation is described as necessary. The server publishes an MCP manifest at `https://getaiform.com/.well-known/mcp.json`, which can be used to inspect its endpoint and available tools.
Form-management operations require authentication. Dashform uses OAuth 2.1 Authorization Code flow with dynamic client registration under RFC 7591. Supported scopes include identity and profile scopes, form read/write scopes, and submission read/write scopes. The available OAuth endpoints cover authorization, token exchange, client registration, resource metadata, and MCP discovery.
## Setup and configuration
Dashform MCP Server MCP server is configured by adding its remote URL to an MCP client. Claude Desktop and Cursor use a `url` entry, VS Code uses a `url` entry under `servers`, and Windsurf uses `serverUrl`.
An MCP client can also be tested with MCP Inspector by passing the hosted endpoint to the inspector command. The server requires no listed environment variables for its remote deployment.
## Tools and capabilities
The tools fall into three practical groups:
- Form management: inspect users, organizations, forms, configurations, questions, themes, endings, and reply counts; create, update, delete, or submit form data.
- Marketplace discovery: list categories, find merchants, and search services using location, category, keyword, or price criteria.
- Funnel booking: inspect a business and its services, read question schemas, evaluate lead fit, check availability, and book an appointment.
The form creation tool supports structured and dynamic AI form types. Updates can target form configuration, questions, endings, or theme. Deletion is described as permanent and includes the form’s data.
## Limitations and notes
Form tools require OAuth authentication, while marketplace discovery and agent booking tools are marked as not requiring authentication. Booking depends on a published funnel and the information exposed by that funnel.
Dashform MCP Server MCP server is a hosted remote service, so its documented setup depends on an MCP client that supports the supplied Streamable HTTP endpoint and OAuth flow. The README names Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, and MCP Inspector, but does not document other client-specific setup instructions.
