## Description
Compliance-filtered crypto exchange fee comparison and rebate-link routing for AI agents.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **get_exchange_fees** — Get real-time trading fees for all major crypto exchanges (Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate.io, Hyperliquid). Returns spot and futures maker/taker fees, plus fees after CoinRebate discount.
- **compare_fees** — Compare trading fees across all exchanges for a specific purpose (spot or futures trading). Returns exchanges ranked by lowest fee after CoinRebate rebate discount. Pass country code for compliance-filtered results.
- **get_best_referral** — Get the best referral/signup link for a specific exchange with maximum fee discount. Returns referral code, discount percentage, and direct signup URL. Pass country to verify compliance.
- **get_latest_news** — Get the latest crypto news and market insights published on CoinRebate. Returns recent article titles and links.
- **calculate_trading_cost** — Calculate the actual trading cost and savings when using CoinRebate referral codes. Shows how much you save compared to standard fees for a given trade volume.
- **get_compliant_exchanges** — Get exchanges available in a specific country, filtered by the CoinRebate compliance matrix. Essential for regulatory compliance.
- **list_tradfi_perps** — Lists Binance USDⓈ-M perpetuals on US, HK, KR, and CN stocks plus commodities from the official exchangeInfo endpoint.
- **get_perp_stats** — Gets daily, weekly, 30-day, and historical weekly-rank statistics for a Binance TradFi perpetual from official Binance klines.
- **check_referral_link** — Checks whether a URL carries CoinRebate's own current referral code (allowlisted exchange hosts only). This is a self-check for CoinRebate links: a link carrying someone else's code is reported as stale_code even though it may be perfectly valid. For a neutral inspection of any exchange link, use inspect_exchange_link.
- **search_guides** — Searches CoinRebate's published guides by keyword (any language) and returns matching articles with title, one-line description and URL. Read-only; results are informational articles, not referral links.
- **inspect_exchange_link** — Inspects an exchange sign-up or referral link and reports evidence on five separate points: whether the domain is a verified official domain of a listed exchange, whether it is reachable, whose referral code it carries, how CoinRebate's records list the exchange for a given country, and what rebate (if any) is configured. Unknown items are reported as unknown. It never says a link is safe, never probes unrecognized domains, and never suggests a replacement link. Read-only.

## Claude Desktop Quick Installation
Install path detected from listing signals. Uses `npx` (confidence: high):

```json
"mcpServers": {
  "coinrebate": {
    "command": "npx",
    "args": ["-y","@coinrebate/mcp-server"]
  }
}
```

## Documentation

## What coinrebate does

coinrebate connects MCP-compatible AI agents to CoinRebate’s public REST API and exposes exchange fee, rebate, referral, compliance, content, and Binance perpetual-market data. Covered exchanges include Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate.io, Hyperliquid, and Aster DEX for the referral program, while fee and comparison results identify the exchanges represented in CoinRebate’s published data.

The server is intended for research, recommendations, and routing rather than account management or trading execution. It does not custody funds or act as an investment adviser. Referral discounts apply to eligible new accounts under each exchange’s own rules.

## How it works

The npm package runs as a standard stdio MCP server. At tool-call time, it reads CoinRebate’s API for fee, rebate, referral, news, guide, and compliance information. Fee records include the benchmark rate and the date associated with the published entry; response metadata can also describe automated refresh checks.

Country-aware tools accept an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code. When supplied, exchange recommendations are filtered through CoinRebate’s compliance matrix. This is relevant when an agent is comparing venues for users in jurisdictions with exchange-specific restrictions.

The package also includes tools based on official Binance endpoints. One lists US, Hong Kong, Korean, and Chinese stock and commodity Binance USDⓈ-M perpetuals from exchangeInfo data. Another reads daily, weekly, 30-day, and historical weekly-rank statistics from Binance klines.

## Setup and configuration

Run the server through npx without a separate installation:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "coinrebate": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@coinrebate/mcp-server"]
    }
  }
}
```

The same `npx -y @coinrebate/mcp-server` command works with Cursor, Cline, and other MCP clients. For a global command-line installation, use `npm i -g @coinrebate/mcp-server`; the `coinrebate` command supports human-readable output by default and `--json` for scripts and agents.

A hosted MCP endpoint is also available at `https://coinrebate.vip/api/mcp`, without local installation. The hosted service includes an additional `recommend_fee_option` tool that is not included in the npm package.

## Tools and capabilities

- Retrieve spot and futures maker/taker fees and referral-adjusted rates.
- Rank exchanges for spot or futures trading, optionally by country.
- Find an exchange’s listed referral code, discount, and signup URL.
- Estimate trading costs and savings for a specified volume.
- List compliant exchanges for a country and inspect exchange referral links.
- Check whether a URL uses CoinRebate’s current referral code.
- Read recent CoinRebate news and search published guides by keyword.
- List Binance TradFi perpetuals and retrieve their performance statistics.

The neutral link inspector separates domain verification, reachability, referral-code ownership, country records, and configured rebates. Unknown findings remain unknown; the tool does not declare a link safe, probe unrecognized domains, or suggest replacements.

## Limitations and notes

Referral discounts are exchange-specific and generally depend on registering a new account through the relevant link. A valid referral URL does not guarantee eligibility. Compliance results reflect CoinRebate’s matrix and should be passed a country code when the user’s jurisdiction matters.

Fee comparisons use CoinRebate’s published benchmark table and referral adjustments. Trading-cost calculations estimate taker-fee costs; yearly figures treat the supplied volume as monthly. News and guide results are informational content, not trading instructions or referral links.

The npm distribution currently provides the local tool set, while the hosted endpoint provides the additional recommendation tool. CoinRebate may receive commissions from covered exchanges. The package is licensed under MIT.
