## Description
MCP server for the Avito Ads API: campaigns, ad groups, creatives, statistics and balances.

## Claude Desktop Quick Installation
Install path detected from listing signals. Uses `npx` (confidence: high):

```json
"mcpServers": {
  "avito-ads-mcp": {
    "command": "npx",
    "args": ["-y","mcp-avito-ads@latest"],
    "env": {
      "AVITO_ADS_CLIENT_ID": "",
      "AVITO_ADS_CLIENT_SECRET": "",
      "AVITO_ADS_ACCOUNT_ID": "",
      "AVITO_ADS_ENVIRONMENT": "",
      "AVITO_ADS_TIMEOUT_MS": "",
      "AVITO_ADS_MAX_RETRIES": ""
    }
  }
}
```

**Requires environment variables:** `AVITO_ADS_CLIENT_ID`, `AVITO_ADS_CLIENT_SECRET`, `AVITO_ADS_ACCOUNT_ID`, `AVITO_ADS_ENVIRONMENT`, `AVITO_ADS_TIMEOUT_MS`, `AVITO_ADS_MAX_RETRIES` — the values above are empty placeholders; fill in real credentials before running (see the repository for what each one is for).

## Documentation

## What Avito Ads MCP does

Avito Ads MCP MCP server connects an MCP-compatible AI client to an Avito Ads advertising account. Its scope is media and performance advertising, not the seller-facing Avito API. The server can read campaign structures, ad groups, creatives, statuses, performance data, balances, agency accounts, users, and ORD-related records.

The package provides 25 tools. Read operations can retrieve campaign and group data, compare metrics, inspect balances, and review account access. Supported metrics include spend, clicks, impressions, CTR, CPM, CPC, and VTR when available from the API.

Write access is deliberately limited for campaign management. The API can change an ad group’s budget or bid, but it cannot create, edit, pause, archive, or delete campaigns, groups, or creatives. Creative and targeting changes are not available through the write interface.

## How it works

The server runs over stdio and uses Avito Ads OAuth2 with the `client_credentials` grant to obtain a Bearer token. A configured account ID fixes the target advertising account, reducing the chance that a tool call operates on another account.

AI clients can use natural-language requests for reporting or prepare a change for confirmation. Operations involving budget, bids, account access, newly created records, transfers, deletion, or raw API requests require care. The server marks destructive operations, and a raw request can change data when write confirmation is enabled.

Each API call consumes the account’s weekly API-point allowance. Results include the remaining `apiPointBalance`, where the API provides it. For testing write operations, the server supports a sandbox environment, although sandbox behavior is not a complete production equivalent and does not provide every resource, including balance data.

## Setup and configuration

Avito Ads MCP MCP server requires Node.js 20 or newer, an Avito Ads API application, and an advertising account ID. An account administrator must create or provide the API credentials. Store the client secret as a password.

Required environment variables:

- `AVITO_ADS_CLIENT_ID` — API application Client Key.
- `AVITO_ADS_CLIENT_SECRET` — API application Client Secret.
- `AVITO_ADS_ACCOUNT_ID` — target advertising account ID.

Optional settings include `AVITO_ADS_ENVIRONMENT`, which accepts `production` or `sandbox` and defaults to production; `AVITO_ADS_TIMEOUT_MS`, which defaults to 30,000 milliseconds; and `AVITO_ADS_MAX_RETRIES`, which defaults to four retries for HTTP 429 responses.

The documented installation command is `npx -y mcp-avito-ads@latest`. Add it as a stdio server in the client configuration and provide the three required variables. The README includes setup examples for Codex, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code.

## Tools and capabilities

- List campaigns, ad groups, creatives, and statuses.
- Retrieve statistics for a selected period.
- Compare performance by group or creative.
- Inspect agency balances and child accounts.
- Prepare or apply a budget or bid change for one ad group.
- Create advertisers, ORD contracts, child accounts, or sandbox accounts where supported.
- Add users, change roles, or revoke access after confirmation.
- Transfer money or bonuses and remove users through destructive operations.

The Avito Ads MCP MCP server also exposes a raw API request capability. Treat it as potentially destructive because its effect depends on the requested endpoint and whether write confirmation is supplied.

## Limitations and notes

This server is not an Avito seller integration. It does not handle products, listings, conversations, orders, or seller promotion. Campaign, group, and creative lifecycle operations are restricted by the underlying API and are not available for general editing or deletion.

Account access, money or bonus transfers, user deletion, and raw write requests can have irreversible effects. Review the target account and requested changes before confirming them. The fixed account configuration and the returned API-point balance are useful when operating in environments with multiple advertising accounts or weekly request limits.
