## Description
AI-designed App Store screenshot sets from your app's screens, uploaded to App Store Connect.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **list_apps** — The user's apps in Agent C, with how many screenshots each has uploaded.
- **add_app** — Add an app by its App Store link (imports name, icon, description), or by name if it isn't released yet. Importing a live app takes ~10-30s; poll list_apps until status is 'ready'.
- **get_upload_link** — Best way to upload screenshots from files on disk: returns a one-time URL (valid 30 min) to POST the image files to with curl (multipart field 'files', up to 10 per request). Use this instead of upload_screenshots when you have a shell, so large images don't pass through the conversation.
- **upload_screenshots** — Upload 1-10 raw screenshots of the app (plain captures of the real UI, ideally 4-10, in the order you'd like them considered). Each item is base64 image data (PNG/JPEG) or a public https URL. By default replaces the app's screenshot library.
- **design_set** — Claude art-directs a full App Store screenshot set from the uploaded screenshots: opening shot, headline per slide, close-ups, palette. Returns watermarked preview images, the slide list and a link to open it in the Agent C studio. Takes ~40-60 seconds.
- **get_set** — Current slides, unlock status and fresh preview images for a set.
- **edit_set** — Change one slide (headline, subline, screenshot, layout, position, or remove it), the opening shot, the device size, or the App Store header (header_*). Re-renders previews. Free.
- **unlock_set** — Unlock clean, full-resolution files for a set. Uses a free unlock if the user has one; otherwise returns a $9.99 Stripe checkout link the USER must open and pay. Studio subscribers are already unlocked. Ask the user before calling.
- **export_set** — Render the unlocked set at exact App Store pixels without watermark and return download links (valid 7 days). Includes the product page header (3840x1646) and search-results image (3840x2560) when the set has a header.
- **send_to_app_store** — Upload the unlocked set into the app's editable version in App Store Connect, replacing that language's screenshots for this device size. Never submits for review. Requires the user to have connected App Store Connect in Agent C. If the app has no editable version, ask the user, then call with create_version=true.

## Documentation

## What Agent C — App Store Screenshots MCP server does

Agent C — App Store Screenshots MCP server connects an MCP client to Agent C and, through it, to App Store Connect for screenshot workflows. It can identify apps already added to the Agent C account, add a released app from its App Store link, or create an unreleased app entry by name. A live-app import can take roughly 10–30 seconds, so agents should check `list_apps` until the app is ready.

The workflow starts with raw captures of the app. The service can accept one to ten PNG or JPEG images as base64 data or public HTTPS URLs. It can also provide a temporary upload URL for sending local files with `curl`, keeping large images out of the conversation. The design step produces a complete screenshot set with an opening image, slide headlines, UI close-ups, and colors drawn from the app. Preview images are watermarked until the set is unlocked.

## How it works

After uploading screenshots, call `design_set` to generate a set. Use `get_set` to retrieve current slides, unlock status, and updated previews. `edit_set` can revise a headline, subline, screenshot, layout, position, opening shot, device size, or App Store header, and can remove slides. Editing and designing are free.

`unlock_set` uses an available free unlock or returns a Stripe checkout link for the user to open and pay. Studio subscribers are already unlocked. Once unlocked, `export_set` produces watermark-free files at the required App Store dimensions and supplies download links valid for seven days. When a header exists, the export also includes product-page and search-results images.

## Setup and configuration

Create an API key in Agent C settings, then connect the hosted endpoint at `https://api.theagentc.io/mcp` with an `Authorization: Bearer <key>` header. The README provides setup examples for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Claude Desktop. Codex can read the key from `AGENTC_KEY`; the Claude Desktop example uses `AGENTC_AUTH` for the bearer value.

The Agent C — App Store Screenshots MCP server is remote, so the repository describes the public metadata and configuration rather than a local server process. The API key is used for studio operations and can be revoked. App Store Connect credentials connected in Agent C are encrypted at rest and used when sending screenshots.

## Tools and capabilities

- `list_apps`: Shows Agent C apps and their uploaded screenshot counts.
- `add_app`: Imports a released app or adds an unreleased app by name.
- `get_upload_link`: Returns a one-time, 30-minute upload URL for local files; requests support up to ten files.
- `upload_screenshots`: Accepts one to ten raw screenshots.
- `design_set` and `get_set`: Create and inspect designed sets and previews.
- `edit_set`: Adjusts slide content, layout, ordering, device size, opening shot, and headers.
- `unlock_set` and `export_set`: Unlock and download final files.
- `send_to_app_store`: Replaces screenshots for a device size in an editable App Store Connect version.

## Limitations and notes

Sending to App Store Connect requires the user to have connected App Store Connect in Agent C. It replaces that language's screenshots for the selected device size and never submits the app for review. If no editable version exists, the user must approve creation by passing `create_version=true`.

The service accepts a maximum of ten screenshots per upload request. The upload-link method is intended for files on disk; `upload_screenshots` is available when an agent must send base64 data or public URLs. Unlocking may cost $9.99 unless a free unlock or Studio subscription applies, and the agent cannot complete payment on the user's behalf.
